Project Cargo and Trade Fair Logistics – Recent Highlights in Logistics from Worldwide Logistics Group Germany

With a highly qualified team of project cargo and trade fair logistics experts, Worldwide Logistics Germany (WWL GmbH) carried out two very intricate shipments last month – a luxury car delivery to the UAE and pharmaceutical machinery to and from CIPM 2021, the largest pharmaceutical machinery exhibition located in Chengdu, China.

Luxury Car Transport

WWL Germany GmbH organized a new vehicle transport to Dubai, UAE for German car maker RUF Automobile GmbH.

All RUF vehicles are based on a Porsche chassis and some of them are truly one of a kind. The uniqueness of these vehicles is what makes them even more expensive than the standard Porsche.

With this type of valuable transport, Worldwide Logistics Germany used a specially approved car transporter. The vehicle was then professionally secured by the team onto a protective car sheet and prepared for air transport.

“Luxury car transport is one of the most complex kinds of transportation in the logistics industry,” said Daniel Jakob, Worldwide Logistics Group Managing Director in Germany. “It takes precision to carry out this type of project cargo.”

Trade Fair Logistics

CIPM 2021 trade fair set up

The pharmaceutical machinery transport from Germany to CIPM 2021 was also a specialized logistics transport because of the nature of global trade fair projects. “Exhibition logistics is an absolute niche business. There are very few logistics companies that have the know-how to organize global trade fair shipments,” said Mr. Jakob.

The products required two customs clearances per event. Each shipment included both the products being exhibited and consumables (promotional gifts). The consumables remained in China and the exhibit products came back to Germany.

“This is always an absolute just-in-time business, as the shipments must be delivered to the exhibition stand and picked up again on a specific day and time,” explained Mr. Jakob.

Worldwide Logistics Group has partners throughout the globe who are familiar with trade fair logistics.  Mr. Jacob continued to explain that it is relationship building and client trust that makes them stand out above others in the trade fair logistics industry. “With partners throughout the globe and employees who have years of experience handling trade fair projects including being on site at many exhibitions, Worldwide Logistics Group has the know-how, experience and a personal touch that makes us stand out from our competition.”
