Worldwide Logistics Group, a global 3PL leader, announces the opening of its 24th branch office in Dallas, Texas, with a focus on expanding its air freight and E-Commerce business as well as expanding its USA footprint for full service logistics solutions.
Peter Hoang, Director of Asia Trade Development for Worldwide Logistics Group said the objective to opening an office in Dallas is to serve the company’s growing line haul operation moving freight from the US to Vietnam.
Mr. Hoang explained that Vietnamese consumers want to buy from US E-Commerce companies that don’t ship directly to Vietnam. Worldwide Logistics Group works with consolidators that bridge the gap between these consumers and US E-Commerce sellers.
“Our customer base in Dallas is growing to a point where we need a branch office to provide the high-quality customer service we are known for. An office with a talented branch manager and strong team can assure best-in-class attention our customers expect,” Mr. Hoang said.
Worldwide Logistics Group currently handles a large volume air freight cargo from Los Angeles to Vietnam. “We’re looking to expand that expertise beyond LA,” Mr. Hoang said.
The Dallas office will be located in Irving, Texas, 4.5 miles from the Dallas Fort Worth Airport, 24 miles from the Union Pacific Dallas, Texas ramp and 250 miles from Houston, Texas port. The office will be run by Farrah William, who has 20 years of experience in supply chain management and E-Commerce fulfillment. “There’s an incredible opportunity for growing our E-Commerce business and Dallas is a prime location,” said Ms. William.
Worldwide Logistics Group is also looking to source more import operations talent in the US Western region. Ms. Gricelda Esquivias, General Manager for the company’s Western region said, “We are a diverse supply chain company led by experts in the logistics arena and we make it a daily practice to stay acutely aware of the network of talented logistics experts in the US and globally. We want the best for our customers and that means we always want to grow our team to keep us sharp and fresh.”
The other US-based offices are located in Los Angeles, Cleveland, and New York. Globally, Worldwide Logistics has offices throughout the Far East, South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
