Worldwide Logistics Group expands its network of global offices with the opening of a new branch in Cleveland, Ohio. The Cleveland office is the fourth new branch this year for the logistics firm. New branches opened in Turkey, Spain and Mexico earlier this year.
WWL Cleveland will be managed by John Alpine. Mr. Alpine, a licensed customs broker, has over 25 years of international logistics experience, having held management positions with Fritz Companies, Energizer Battery and W.E.S.T. Forwarding Services.
“As we continue the swift pace of our growth, having John on board builds our strength in the market and gives us the muscle we need during these unprecedented times,” said Joe Monaghan, CEO of Worldwide Logistics Group.
Opening a Worldwide Logistics Group office in Cleveland is the first step in the company’s expansion within the United States, according to Mr. Monaghan. Several other offices in key US markets are expected to open within the next 18-24 months. “Expanding our sales coverage in the US will allow us to leverage the global network we’ve developed over the past five years,” Mr. Monaghan explained. “We intend to aggressively pursue continued WWL expansion in the United States and internationally.”
Mr. Alpine explained that one of his core objectives in Cleveland is to use his comprehensive international sales and marketing knowledge to continuously achieve a superior level of customer satisfaction, offering best-in-class services and cutting-edge logistics technology. “Our flexibility to always adapt and adjust will guarantee long lasting client relationships and foster tremendous growth and expansion capabilities, Mr. Alpine said.
“I am extremely excited and honored to be part of the Worldwide Logistics Group team,” said Mr. Alpine. “In keeping with the team’s professional and entrepreneurial spirit, the Cleveland office will work hard to ensure smart, innovative solutions to answer our customers’ needs.”
